Independent Banking Professionals Ltd (IBP) are excited to announce they have been authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) for Credit Broking, Debt Adjustment and Debt Counselling.
This means that going forward, the East Midlands based financial management business can carry out regulated financial service activities in the UK. They can now help establish lender/borrower relationships for clients such as sole traders and smaller partnerships of 2 or 3 people as well as continuing to provide expert financial support for limited companies and larger partnerships.
Since starting the business, the directors of IBP have focussed on providing fair and transparent advice to all clients and this authorisation only serves to confirm their professional stance with existing and new clients.
To become FCA regulated is no small feat, IBP have had to show to the FCA how they have the ability to exceed minimum threshold conditions, and have the appropriate controls and systems in place to meet regulatory standards.
Confirmation from the FCA stated “We are delighted to be able to confirm to you that Independent Banking Professionals Ltd has today become Authorised and Regulated by the FCA.”
Helen Sallis, IBP Director says, “It is fabulous to be authorised and regulated by the FCA, and we think eventually this will be mandatory across the whole of the credit broking sector. For us it means we can now bring our experience and expertise to the whole market, being able to advise sole traders and smaller partnerships, who deserve the same level of experience as the larger corporates.”
